XMUM Table Tennis Invitation Tournament 2019 was successfully held from 22 to 23 June 2019. Organized by Table Tennis Club, this is the first inter-university table tennis tournament held at XMUM. 12 teams from 9 universities registered for the event, including universities from KL, Selangor, Melaka and Perak.

This event adopted a distinctive mixed-team format which can hardly be found in other tournaments. Each team wasrequired to compete in five categories per match, namely, Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

With the support from the committees, umpires, ECA office, sponsors and allthe participants, the tournament turned out to be a huge success. A number of positive reviews were given by the sports officers and players of the participating universities.
