On 2 and 3 March 2019, the newly elected members of XMUM Student Council participated in a Leadership Development Program held at Janda Baik, for the purpose of fostering teamwork and acquiring skills to better serve XMUM students.

The 2-day program was comprised of well-designed activities and informative talks conducted by second-year student Eian Vick Hon, a former student council member, and several Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) staff. It included raft building, water rafting and various other physical activities aiming at increasing team cohesion and enhancing mutual understanding.

This trip has forged bonds among participants and helped to ensure the transfer of necessary information, which would make the new council members more confident in contributing to XMUM community.
